Pretty much
Wouldn't a game mechanic/animation like that be equivalent to a stunt in a movie?
Like, imagine if a film director wanted to blow up a car in his movie, but was getting sued by Paramount because Michael Bay already blew up a car in Transformers.
It's my understanding that, at least in the USA, a lot of the emissions of the 10% is simply that they commute to work by car, which is one of the least efficient ways to transport a single person. If there was more public transportation infrastructure, it would probably be closer to the top 2-3% that cause the majority of pollution.
Don't forget parking lots! The suburban strip mall is dependent on them. And since they take up valuable real estate that isn't providing any tax revenue, it gets subsidized by taxes from neighboring high-density urban areas.
Tbf, most automobile companies are heavily subsidized through the fossil fuel infrastructure that is required for them to exist and be of any use. That includes, but is not limited to:
- oil and gas refineries subsidies
- roads and parking lot subsidies
- tax breaks and gov bailouts
Glad someone posted this game. It had no right be fucking good lol
WW2 taught the USA that war can lift you out of an economic depression and stimulate your economy. They have since embraced that fact, and are now parading to celebrate their money making machine, not the victory itself.
Gone in <100 days
They have pills and alcohol for that. Or they don't actually sleep and are on a coke binge instead.
I'm sure FitGirl will think of something.
If only Poland told Hitler 'Stop' during the blitzkrieg.. I'm sure things would've turned out differently.
I mean, if we consider that some long-range middle engagements are launched from thousand of miles away, surely 100mi can be considered 'close range' by comparison?
How long does it even take a jet to travel 100mi when going Mach 2 or 3?
