We don't like being watched, it takes away our freedom, which is of utmost importance. My cats want to sit around me and stare at me all day, the moment I stare back, they don't want to look at me, they don't want to make eye contact, they get so uncomfortable, they'll walk away pretending to be distracted by something else, thinking I'm a fool, I get their games and I beat them at it!

Hey, don't say you're a mistake, you're a god damn marvelous creation of the universe. You feel trapped, you need freedom, and you'll use this as motivation to do what you need to do everyday to survive and then eventually thrive in life. You just need to believe in yourself, I believe in you! ~another autist, talking from similar experiences, I almost dropped out of college too, took up a job even, only to go back and wrap up college in time before they kicked me, using that degree to immigrate to better lands following my girlfriend, settling down, having beautiful kids, chasing my dreams, finding purpose, and all that shit.

If you're not weirdo, are you even living, lol? Embrace the weirdo! Chase joy with all your might!

I was "would do well if applied self and stopped getting distracted" when - things were too new, too hard, too boring, too distracting (not engaging), too much memorization of random facts and rules (history/geography/language).

I was "gifted and pleasure to teach" when - I got all the support I needed and I was shown that there was a system that was logical that I can understand if I just tried (math/physics/chemistry).

The British popularized the phrase, which gives away the playbook. The rich and powerful use this playbook time and again to divide the masses. Education should help, but siloed propaganda is really effective to counter even education because propaganda uses fear & hate to bring out the animal in you, and when you're angry and scared you forget all reason and all education.

I'm chaotic good. Balanced haphazardly and without order.

The British did a 'divide and rule'. Religion was the tool used to do the division 75 years ago at the time of separation. Religion is the same tool used today to divide the country internally and manufacture hate and consent for war.

If you're not free, the world isn't free.

Greed finds a way to get too big. However, it is self-destructive and therefore short-lived. Greed is so selfish, it eats itself alive till there is one last malignant tumor cell standing, and with him ends the entire disease, sometimes only to reappear a few decades later when old memories have faded and the wisdom wasn't fully taught and/or learned. Like a body fights a foreign body, humanity collectively needs to isolate, acknowledge, and curb the evil of greed. Humanity will eventually evolve to learn this important lesson and make sure this mistake isn't repeated.

We don't want to miss anything. Completeness is important to us. But our minds are also moving too fast, constantly navigating 'the thought tree' branch to branch like a wild monkey. We let our attention slide from what's in front of us to what's playing inside our heads. I hope we all embrace letting ourselves slip into our own thoughts. Thank goodness movies can be paused and rewinded, I only wish I could've done the same in my engineering classes.

Before we talk about the what or the how, we must talk more about the why. I have some thoughts that I’ll share, but it doesn’t matter for we can collectively decide and do anything we want.

I say, welcome to the party! Grab some snacks, we'll figure it out together.

Hello dear fellow human beings!

Let me clarify a few things.

We are one, all of us, all stardust, right from the belly of an exploding star, right to our shared evolution, history, & current technological & societal progress. All humanity and all life is one and connected, and so are all of our problems.

Poverty, hunger, homelessness, climate change, fascism, war, and even the global epidemic of loneliness & depression aren’t distinct disconnected problems. They are a singular globally connected problem. And it requires a singular globally connected solution.

All of these are problems of a skewed economy, aka wealth inequality. Those who don't have enough face poverty, hunger, homelessness, and a lifetime of financial insecurity. Those who have plenty, want even more, which leads to them dividing the masses by propaganda, eventually leading to fascism & war. Our collective mismanaged consumption is pushing us all towards climate catastrophe. All of these global issues are making us very lonely & depressed, and the overall society prone to crime & violence.

So how can we fix this skewed economy and our collective social issues? And is it even solvable?

Some might find the answer as obvious, some might consider it incorrect or impossible to achieve. Well, let me tell you folks, I've done the math, I've double checked my work, there is one and only one way out - Collectively!

Welcome to Collective Cake, a secular democratic global economic engine powered by all, and created for all. If we are the producers and if we are also the consumers, then we can manage our economy however we collectively want. It’s our Collective Cake, let’s take ownership and enjoy it best we can.

Is it a business? Or is it an cooperative? Is it a think tank? Or is it an economic union? Is it a democratically controlled, sustainability led unified global economy? It is anything & everything we want it to be. We get to collectively decide it!

Is it capitalism? Is it communism? Is it market socialism? All I will say about this is that capitalism is what exists right now, and market socialism is also capitalism, but the better kind. However, I want us all to refrain from using such labels while problem solving. Labels might help identify a sub-group, but it invariably causes division and we pick sides, we blindly love ours, and blindly hate theirs. An emotional response is not a well reasoned response. Lastly, if even one man cannot understand ambiguous or technical jargon, we have all collectively lost.

There's a lot for us talk about. Not a debate to be won, but a problem to be solved. Not using violence, but by strategy and collective action. Before we talk about the what or the how, we must talk more about the why. I have some thoughts that I'll share, but it doesn't matter for we can collectively decide and do anything we want. The matchstick has been lit.

Next week, I'll share my thoughts on our collective ethos or "our water".

Stay tuned!

Just finished a decade long expedition of starting my business, growing it with love & tears to an exit to a venture funded giant in the space, being on their leash for a few years, & getting laid off just this week. AMA why capitalism will self consume. And since I have some time now I can try to articulate what I think will replace it.
