What's the link for the furry hacker hosting in the Netherlands? I guess it's the influence of the fediverse, but this scenario does sound more trustworthy

I'm frankly in a phase of life where I am seeing with ever fresh clarity all the mistakes I've made that have led me to the rather solitary life I lead. And many days I'm just keeping my interactions with others to a minimum so that I don't create any opportunities to feel shit about my interpersonal skills. But, and so, nonetheless, I manage to find self-pride in very little things.

Like how this week I learned all these keyboard shortcuts to make my editing of a text document faster. Or today, some kid was lingering by the basketball court awkwardly — like heartbreakingly awkward in his own skin. I asked him if he wanted to shoot a few before I headed home and made him a deal that I wasn't allowed to go home 'til he shot a 3-pointer. I let him have as many tries as he needed until he get one.

Hopefully you're not in a time zone where it's too late!

And what's a good friendly message or meme to send just to say I think they're great at being mothers?

Well, that was a little detour

Yeah the pizza isn't great, either

Yup. Most therapists keep progress notes as plain as possible

Hydro Man. Saw the covers in some book as a kid, created a bunch of adventures based on the concept

Is this real or photoshop?

Their comment stands. Too many Americans remain too comfortable, at least for now. The standard of living in some ways might be declining, but it's happening at a sufficiently slow pace that it is tolerated. And, so far, the bread and circus is compensating

I was thinking "spuddling along"

Prepare to be amazed at the attention and reading comprehension levels of people around you

I'm looking to cart products around to sell on foot.

Basically I want a box on wheels with bars in the front that I can lift and then walk forward. Similar to the idea of a rickshaw, but instead of seats for people, a container that can hold ~200lbs of weight. Or the type of thing you'd connect to a bike, except I want to just pull it on foot. The added element is that I want to be collapsible or able to be dismantled when not in use. Surely this must exist but I have no idea what term to use to search for it.

"Rickshaw" mainly brings results related to pedicabs. The closest I got was "utility cart" like this for example. But the problem with these, unlike a rickshaw style design, is they don't scale well with the addition of weight where two wheels is easier than 4, depending on the surface. Also, versions that can be taken apart of collapses aren't rugged enough.

I've used a hand truck put into the flat configuration in the past. But that lacks the box component to contain the products. I can stack boxes on it, but that gets unstable. And, again, the 4 wheel flat design doesn't scale well with weight compared to the rickshaw concept.

So, yeah: what do you call that?

And, if they are, any recommendations for a gun controller?

Like if you want to donate to a website that maintains trackers, or files, do you take steps to make it anon, or just use paypal or whatever? If you do, how do you go about doing that?

People who haven't really resumed socializing at levels they used to, people who lost the capacity to regulate during interpersonal interactions, people who lost trust in others... I encounter lots of partial returners out there

I'm on a Legion Lenovo Slim 5. The webcam shows too much area around me during video calls (the browser based teleconferencing tool that I use doesn't have settings to adjust this).

I tried the cameractrls app, but it doesn't offer any way to crop or zoom in. Any other suggestions?

Beyond just marking up an e-book, are there any devices that would also allow you to edit the file itself?
