Right? I love it when the internationale comes up after some chvrches, then is followed by some screamo. Drives anyone in the car with me insane, but I get pumped.

Because the man was legally in possession of them at the time. It's the same reason that you have to go through a tedious process to have your car reported stolen if you let someone borrow it and don't bring it back.

It's by federal/national level. Most states have some form of it. You can surely guess which ones don't.

Instructions unclear, silicone now in bladder.

Also, it's kinda ass to put that in someone else's filter system, and you don't want to be dealing with it in yours.

It's where he's allowed to cuddle/lay in your lap. It's easier than having guests get down on the ground for it, and there are two couches, one allowed and one not. So guests that don't want a begger of pets can choose.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Marxist-Leninists describe their disagreements in terms that turn criticism of them into gibberish. I think it’s exactly what Orwell was writing about based on his experiences.

Nail on the head. There's a particularly active lemming from the tankie instances that always, and purposefully, devolves everything into arguing about everyone else using words incorrectly.

Meanwhile, my dog is so stupid, he'll jump onto slippery vinyl floors from couches and chairs. I've actually seen him slip, fall sideways and body slam into the ground. I found him limping one time and I'm reasonably sure it was from jumping off the couch, which is when I finally put my foot down and blocked him from jumping up onto it. Built a little ramp instead.

Bingo. She's won three terms, so six years of being a rep, which means she gets the retirement and healthcare (the federal option, which she would pay the premiums for, in fairness) for life. The formula calculates out somewhere between $17-20k once she turns 62 in another nine years. Not a lot, but a very decent chunk to add to everything else.

Add in everything from the typical republican grifts and why would she bother anymore?

We don't want developers to continue building in the way they have been. McMansions (the most profitable house for them to build) in car-fucked-surburbia (the most profitable area because all the hidden costs are loaded onto the city in the future) are unsustainable, in the ecological sense, the environmental sense, and in the financial sense, as everyone trying to buy a house now is discovering.

Right now that building model is continuing because corporations wanting to rent are seizing up everything they can. There will be enough folks wanting affordable, sustainable housing, and we get that by building more densely and making cities nice to live in.

So let the current developers die, and a new model come in.

I know, right? A 15 inch beer can!? Don't tell the boys, or they'll start trading out the forties for the... I don't know how tall a typical beer can is, but let's just say fifty-fives.

I'm actually amazed. There are way less around me than I thought there would be.

You know, wild, insane conspiracy theory, but maybe the mental breakdown is more than just aftereffects from the stroke.

What if some republican patsy at a three letter agency has some serious blackmail on him? He's a public figure, his actions easily scrutinized. As a senator his time, statements, and votes are public, and the government itself is doing the blackmail, so he can't turn to anyone. If he resigns they release the blackmail. The only way to not have the blackmail released is to fake these issues. Or maybe the pressure is actually breaking him, who knows.
