It's not like the old days where you could just throw up a bit of html and your done. You need to do some research, especially if you are running a business.

All bootloaders should be able to be unlocked and able to install the OS of your choice. Also you should be able to choose whatever app store you want. It is your hardware, you payed for it.

Isn't it funny how they're the ones always complaining about fake news, but these are the ones that are spreading it.

Well there are no operating systems that you can install and forget, unless they never plan to go online with the machine. They all need updating which can be set automatically. The only problem is if it requires manual intervention, sometimes updates don't go as planned, then a roll-back might be necessary. They could try an immutable linux distribution if they are worried about screwing up their installs or something. Fedora kinoite may be their thing, or Bazzite which is based on that.

We're talking about a Scientologist here, not exactly known for their freedom loving ways.

Sure we can sign an agreement, but would it be worth the paper it gets written on? He imposed tariffs against our country based on pure lies. Nothing he signs his name to can be trusted. So go ahead, but in the mean time lets put more weight on treaties we have with other nations who stand by their words.

I don't really think so, nor do i believe it would be desirable.
