Hello there! I'm glad I found this community :)

I have a nice tobacco pouch made of leather, with silicon lining. It's quite small, but that is intended as I'm only using it for a few batches.

The problem is, it's not sealing very well, resulting in quickly drying out the tobacco and also spilling bits in my bag.

It has just a simple cover with snap fasteners.

I'm looking for an alternative but in the same "style". I like the appearance, because it feels more old school than just using the tobacco pack directly or a can. (Especially when I'm on Pirate or Hobbit themed "ren fares" 😂)

What do you use?

What naming scheme do you use for your devices/entities/animations? (lemmy.world)
 

Are there any recommended best practices?

I'm doing a fresh setup on a new system and want to use this opportunity to organise things better. Previously it was quite a mess 😅

Some loose thoughts:

  • I don't really want to use the brand, so I could replace devices
  • Not all devices have a fixed place (e.g. the phone), so using the room in the name might not be a nice solution, or I could use "portable" instead for those
