I'm animated marvel / DC fan, i want more animated shows in the future similar to season 3-4 of young justice.

Dark animation like The Watchman series from 2024. No more marvel slop.

Most of the comics these days are owned by mega-companies. They could afford to start selling the physical comics for $1.00. When I was very young, being able to buy my own comics with money I'd earned meant a lot to me. It's how I learned to budget and manage money. A kid would need $100.00 a week to buy as many comics as I used to get.

A TV show shouldn't be required watching to understand what's going on in the next "big blockbuster". If they have to be "in universe", make those about street level, 3rd tier heroes. Nobody knew who Peacemaker was 10 years ago, and it's one of the best.

I love seeing crossovers. The cool thing about comics is you could have someone show up in another book, and then you're interested in that character so you go read those books. The movies and shows should be like that, relatively independent but with occasional references and cameos.

Like the way Matt Murdock appeared in She Hulk was enjoyable. As long as you were aware of the Netflix shows, you didn't need to have watched all the Defenders episodes to understand it. But maybe seeing him in that show made you want to check out the Netflix series.

What I don't want is like a full introduction every time a special guest character shows up. Like if Hawk Girl makes an appearance in Peacemaker Season 2, we don't need a "Hi, I'm from the Justice League and I'm a reincarnated ancient alien wielding Nth Metal, how can I help you?" conversation.

I now have a dark hope that one of the writers sees this, includes that exact dialogue and prompts the actress to break the 4th wall with a smirk

1930s style superheros where they stood with the people against the corrupt establishment rather than the other way around.

Stand alone shows/movies. Not integrated into the universe. And more character driven. Introspective.

Young Justice rocks. I love the stuff that showcases a little bit of everything in the universe.

Currently distracting myself with a rewatch of Batman Brave and the Bold while eating and stuff. If you're ever in the mood for something funnier, would recommend. Even if you're sick of Batman, this is a fun version that's friends with everyone and isn't an asshole. And there's appearances from everyone from Kamandi the last boy to Doom Patrol.

Personally I'm looking forward to that same kind of idea where everything exists in the same universe from Gunn's take on things. And hopefully not counting my chickens before they hatch. But I get the idea that's what he's going to go for.

As far as Marvel goes, I'm more of an X-Men fan than anything else personally, so I'm really hoping there's going to be an X-Men '98 and '99. Not particularly looking forward to MCU X-Men but maybe I'll be entertained.

Animated Absolute Martian Mind****er.

The Absolute universe would kill it as an animated series. They're doing some top tier work with those books.

Wonder Woman at the very least deserves it. It's been great seeing her get more positive attention, and this incarnation of her character has been one of the best.

A mix of digital comic, animated & live action series, all set in the same season, intermixing the storylines, all in the same format (online/stream).

Bring the best of all 3 together.

Fuck up everybody's world.

Ao3 is already fine as far as I can tell.
