Kind of is if you consider movies to be a series of photographs. They're both captured by cameras, in this case on regular camera film too.
Yes. For people who consider groups of many things to be one thing. Like known individual human Ted Cruz, for example

When you have a group of things and you take one thing from the group then your thing is one thing.
