Most of us just want to be able to ignore the US

It's tiresome. Your country is the belligerent toddler that has become the obnoxious high-school jock

Lots to say, but nothing of value and insists on being the centre of attention.

All my life my country has just sort of grumbled and put up with the bullshit that America spewed because it would cost us more to push back against it. I'm actually kind of relieved that the mask is finally off and most everyone can now see what I've been griping about all this time.

Assuming we make it through this without being literally invaded in an attempt to make us the "51st state", this may be a good thing in the long term.

I don't think there's any real risk of Drumpf trying to make Canada a part of the US

Sadly, I also don't think there's zero risk...

It won't be this term. It'll be once he declares himself emperor

I've given up on thoughts that go "surely he wouldn't be stupid enough to..." or "surely the American public wouldn't allow him to..."

I hope to be pleasantly surprised someday, but it will be a surprise at this point.

Yep

I'm constantly waiting for him to reach the bottom, but he finds new way to be stupid

I'm so grateful that I live far away from the madness, but unfortunately the ripples affect the whole world

Interesting. From the inside, it feels like the U.S. is the obnoxious high school jock that turned into a belligerent toddler.
